Director of Representative Development

With over 17 years of experience in the industry, Will’s primary focus is estate planning and business protection strategies.  He specializes in helping his clients understand their business and partnership exposures, helps them take the proper precautions to protect themselves. He also works with his clients’ business and tax attorneys, as well as their CPAs, to gain a comprehensive understanding of each client’s unique situation. This allows him to help make the best planning strategies for his client's needs.

Will began working in the financial industry in 2007, after the completion of his business degree from the College of Charleston. He was exposed to the financial industry at a young age. His father, Mace Brown, enjoyed a long successful career, serving as a manager to a team of financial professionals. Will is Series 6 and 63 securities registered and has his SC life, health, and variable insurance license. He has also attained a Disability Income Associate (DIA) certification. With that, he has a deep understanding of disability income insurance and individual strategies.

Will and his wife Katie reside on James Island with their two children, Finn and Oaks.  Will is a big outdoorsman.  When not working, he is on his boat fishing, or in the woods chasing game.  He also coaches his children’s youth sports teams.  Will and Katie, both C of C alumni, love attending the basketball and baseball games.
